The people behind PQFORCE

INTRASOFT is a Swiss software service provider. We have R&D sites in Hünenberg (Switzerland) and Milano (Italy). Our development team consists of highly qualified software engineers with an academic education and above-average commitment and passion for software development.

Ugur Bastas

Ugur Bastas is the owner of the companies INTRASOFT AG, HESBAS AG and BOTTSTONE Srl and is responsible for the presidency of the board of directors. At the same time he acts in the operational area as CEO of these companies with focus on sales and internationalization.

Franz Hess

Franz Hess is the owner of the companies INTRASOFT AG, HESBAS AG and BOTTSTONE Srl. As a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) he is responsible for finance and accounting of these companies.

How it all began

The company was originally established in 1992 in the software engineering field. Since then, INTRASOFT has successfully implemented various individual software solutions for multinationals like Schindler or Bühler and large Swiss public-law enterprises like SBB and Swisscom.

Why PQFORCE?

When U. Bastas and D. Hösli led the engineering company HELVETING (as members of the board of directors), they had to organize their engineers in a dynamic environment. They worked on a project-basis in various projects simultaneously, hopping on and off projects, depending on the customers' needs and the staff's availability.

When they evaluated the market for a tool, they suddenly realized that none of the existing ones satisfied their requirements. Furthermore, most of their multinational customers themselves didn't use anything else than Excel... This was when the idea of PQFORCE was born.

Where we got

In 2014, INTRASOFT was strategically repositioned as a solution provider with our flagship product PQFORCE. Since 2017 we have been operating independently under the ownership of Ugur Bastas and Franz Hess and managed by Dr. Daniel Hösli.
